00:14
welcome to this edition with biomass
00:17
it’s the wind turbine a discussion of
00:19
sustainable living and what that means
00:21
to you and me I’m Jay Warmke and I’m
00:24
Annie Warmke and you are and today we’re
00:27
going to talk about natural healing
00:29
using herbs or if you could patent grass
00:32
you’d have to get a prescription to mow
00:34
the lawn I tell you there is so much
00:39
money it’s not funny it’s actually not
00:43
funny but it is funny hearing you say it
00:45
like that all right well we’re gonna
00:47
talk a little bit about healing with
00:48
herbs and it’s in the news a lot don’t
00:52
start with I can’t believe it I cannot
00:56
believe it very well people are I mean
00:58
they don’t say it’s CBD oil CBD oil all
01:02
right well they I think what’s happened
01:04
is big businesses decided there’s big
01:06
business in drugs surprise well guys
01:09
under the table have known that for
01:10
quite a long time lots of big houses
01:12
sitting there ferment for marijuana
01:14
sales right well more more from
01:16
prescriptions I think and now they’re
01:19
going to make marijuana into big
01:21
business so yeah alright so we’re not
01:25
going to talk about that we’re gonna
01:26
talk oh thank you I thought you were
01:28
really great we’re gonna talk about
01:29
other herbs or herbs they would say in
01:32
England so you like to say that we have
01:35
an insurance plan in I was gonna say in
01:39
the garden but you don’t say that I say
01:41
that so so talk about herbs tell me a
01:43
little bit about well before we do that
01:44
I just want to say that I’m not a
01:46
medical doctor and I’m not giving
01:48
medical advice the the things that we’re
01:51
going to talk about today are that our
01:53
processes and herbs and plants that we
01:57
use on our own farm with ourselves and
01:59
with our livestock and side effects may
02:01
include having to think which is painful
02:03
to many we’re gonna give all our
02:06
disclaimers like taking control of your
02:09
own health so we do have a health
02:11
insurance plan and that plan is
02:13
basically really simple it says we’re
02:15
gonna stay well and as long as we’re
02:18
focused on bad concept which sounds kind
02:21
of uppity because we’re able to live in
02:24
a place where there’s not a lot of
02:26
spraying although
02:27
when I do have contact with somebody
02:29
spraying I can’t talk for months and we
02:34
don’t have a lot of air pollution in
02:36
general so we’re not all that I’m gonna
02:39
I’m gonna sort of give you the benefit
02:41
of the doubt here because you’re saying
02:43
it sounds a little bit uppity but the
02:44
reality is most people will nod their
02:46
head when somebody says oh you should
02:48
focus on health and not on sickness but
02:51
they don’t do it so basically what
02:53
they’re doing is to say all right hey
02:55
quit thinking about sickness quit
02:58
thinking about ailments quit thinking
03:00
about what drug you’re gonna take
03:01
powerful and start thinking about how
03:03
can I be as healthy as I can be on an
03:05
ongoing and daily basis and and that’s
03:07
the placebo effect which we really need
03:10
to think about because the studies show
03:12
that if we can tell ourselves a certain
03:15
thing like somebody gives us something
03:17
and says this is going to make you
03:18
better a lot of the time that is is a
03:22
placebo that is got nothing in it that’s
03:25
gonna help you feel better it’s you told
03:26
yourself that okay well but we’re going
03:28
to talk about homeopathy later it’s not
03:32
come on you’re sick and I give you some
03:36
homeopathic stuff I’m gonna pinch you
03:38
give me a big cup of placebo please
03:41
that’s okay all right well talk about
03:43
yeah from the insurance from the health
03:45
standpoint right well and how does that
03:47
differ from the medical model first of
03:51
all the medical model is the last on the
03:53
list
03:54
it’s the lat it’s the place of last
03:56
resort and that’s the other placebo
03:58
piece of this is that we have to begin
04:00
to tell ourselves and believe it that we
04:03
have the ability just like our
04:04
grandparents and our ancestors to do a
04:07
lot of daily maintenance or health
04:09
maintenance on ourselves so some of the
04:11
some of the systems that you and I use
04:14
are chiropractic we do homeopathic
04:18
remedies even if you don’t believe in it
04:21
you still do it when I ask you to and
04:23
you get better we also do a lot of
04:28
things with medicinal herbs with plants
04:30
that again our ancestors used and
04:32
believed in and they in fact lots more
04:35
evidence of how effective they are so
04:37
we’re going to talk a little bit about
04:41
natural healing and I’m calling it a
04:44
natural healing kit because we need to
04:47
be ready when there are things going on
04:50
such as injuries or illness and how we
04:53
can identify some of those problems and
04:56
what to do about it so there are some
04:58
go-to things that I always have on hand
05:01
and eventually if you’re with us long
05:03
enough living in the environment with us
05:06
you will know these are the things you
05:08
do okay with us meaning at Blue Rock
05:11
station not not with us on this planet
05:13
well maybe I don’t know but so one of
05:16
the first things we do is to say part of
05:19
our health insurance policy is that we
05:21
need to have a lot of good bacteria in
05:23
our gut so we when we deal with the
05:27
medical model the medical model has
05:29
traditionally done a lot to to destroy
05:32
all that good bacteria that’s in the gut
05:35
and they give antibiotic and that’s anti
05:39
meaning is going to kill what’s there
05:41
but they kill everything so the the
05:44
flora in the gut needs to have lots of
05:46
good bacteria and it needs balance so
05:49
the when the bad bacteria is introduced
05:51
it has the ability to re-establish
05:53
balance so if we somebody says I have a
05:57
stomachache we’ll go and get we have
06:01
powdered acidophilus and we keep in a
06:05
jar in the refrigerator and everybody
06:07
will go and take if they’re feeling ill
06:10
and almost always if it’s bacteria based
06:13
and not like e.coli or something it’s
06:17
going to take that right out it’s going
06:19
to stop that stomachache because it’s
06:21
reestablished balance it also works well
06:24
with healing if you have a wound it if
06:28
you put that into the wound what it does
06:31
is it kills off bad bacteria and
06:33
introduces good bacteria for healing if
06:35
you have a vaginal infection again it’s
06:39
it’s bacteria that you’re introducing if
06:42
you have a sore throat
06:44
what we do is remedy is we say all right
06:47
you’re going to take the acidophilus on
06:49
an empty stomach and then you’ll wait
06:51
about 20 minutes and then you’re going
06:53
to gargle
06:55
some warm water with salt in it which my
06:57
grandma always guaranteed was going to
06:59
be helpful and then you’re just gonna
07:01
keep repeating and altering the
07:02
acidophilus the probiotic which is the
07:05
acidophilus with the salt and guaranteed
07:09
it’s going to get better and I will
07:12
attest it the acidophilus
07:14
have an upset stomach or whatever take a
07:17
little spoonful of acidophilus but
07:19
that’s not truly an herb right that’s a
07:21
probiotic actually I think it’s produced
07:23
from wheat really I think it’s grown
07:26
it’s mostly from from yogurt it’s in
07:29
yogurt but I don’t think it’s produced
07:31
from yogurt from everything I’ve read
07:33
I’m not an expert on this I don’t really
07:35
care I’m not a cook but I don’t think
07:37
there’s much wheat in yogurt so I hope
07:40
not or I’m gonna be sick another thing
07:42
we do when there’s a lot of congestion
07:44
we have several remedies but one of them
07:47
is to take some dried oregano and some
07:51
garlic and if it’s fresh that’s even
07:53
better
07:53
and and smash it so it’s got the oils in
07:56
it and and some hot boiling water and
07:59
we’ll put that in a cup and ask the
08:03
person who is getting sick or is sick to
08:05
sit and inhale that and oregano and
08:07
garlic are powerful powerful herbs
08:10
medicinal herbs that can get into your
08:13
system and help heal and help and
08:16
they’re antiviral antibacterial and they
08:20
can really really help you but a theme
08:22
that I’m catching here is it’s
08:24
essentially restoring balance back to
08:26
your system to your body’s natural
08:28
systems saying okay we’re gonna create
08:32
reestablished balance or allow a
08:35
situation where your body can heal
08:37
itself well I think that’s true but I
08:39
think we have to come from the point of
08:41
view that the body has the ability to do
08:44
this to start with that it isn’t some
08:46
magic thing that a medical doctor gives
08:49
you that says you’re going to get better
08:52
because the medical model to boil it all
08:54
down their purpose is to one either mask
08:56
what’s wrong or remove it and this is
08:59
not the premise that we come from in
09:02
terms of talking about healing and and
09:05
natural remedies we’re saying look the
09:07
body has the ability at
09:09
some level to take that immune system
09:12
that lives in the gut where the bacteria
09:15
lives and and heal itself so how do we
09:18
do that well we’re saying we need to
09:20
talk to the immune system we need to say
09:23
to the immune system hey boys you got to
09:25
step up to the plate here you’re not
09:26
doing your job how can I help you and
09:28
this is true for livestock this is true
09:31
for humans some other things that we
09:34
like elderberry
09:35
it’s a fantastic booster to the immune
09:38
system and so I make elderberry syrup
09:41
and in fact I was getting ready I went
09:45
to on a trip in December and I was quite
09:48
worried because I was flying on a plane
09:49
which I don’t care about the plane but
09:51
there’s no fresh air and and lots of
09:54
germs people were sneezing and coughing
09:56
like crazy and so I did two things for
09:58
myself before I went again I was talking
10:00
to my immune system so for the month
10:03
before I went on the flight I had two
10:06
big tablespoons of elderberry syrup that
10:11
was put into what I call fire cider and
10:13
fire cider is made it’s people have made
10:16
fire cider probably since the beginning
10:18
of time with a variety of things
10:20
including apple cider vinegar garlic hot
10:23
pepper cayenne thyme and a couple of
10:29
other things and so I mixed all that
10:30
together and every night I would have a
10:33
small glass of that I mean just like I
10:36
don’t know maybe it would probably be
10:38
six or seven tablespoons a shot they
10:40
like to call it maybe it was a little
10:42
more than shot and and I got through all
10:44
that and and I did fine so there are a
10:48
lot of things that you can do to talk to
10:51
that immune system okay and what give me
10:56
some more because I was with you until
10:57
you got to the fire vinegar the fire
11:00
fighter yeah I like the elderberry that
11:04
tastes good it’s like it’s like going to
11:06
International House of Pancakes yeah
11:08
well yeah and then you’re starting to
11:11
mix apple apple juice with Tabasco sauce
11:14
and I’m not quite with you on that one
11:16
well so we oh you’re such a wuss well
11:21
anyway so so in
11:22
another thing that’s a can be a common
11:24
problem for people especially for women
11:26
and especially during traveling is is a
11:30
bladder infection and so we use a herb
11:34
called OVA Ursa and and cranberry and
11:39
OVA Ursa can be really helpful with a
11:42
lot of different things including
11:44
bladder stones and chronic diarrhea it’s
11:48
a muscle relaxant it also soothes
11:50
strengthens and tightens inflamed tissue
11:53
and the cranberry is fantastic because
11:56
it’s rich in vitamin C and it does not
11:59
allow the infection the bacteria that’s
12:01
attaching to the bladder to cause the
12:03
pain to attach itself to the bladder so
12:06
within a couple of days you would see
12:08
you would you would be without symptoms
12:11
if you want to go the medical doctor it
12:13
might take a month so this is a very
12:16
powerful herb also parsley is really
12:19
fantastic for to take for a bladder
12:21
infection has a lot of good quality
12:23
something that occurred to me while you
12:24
were talking about this is is these
12:26
remedies seem to me that you’re saying
12:29
okay these will take a period of days to
12:32
actually come and and solve or regain
12:36
the balance within your body I think a
12:39
lot of people look at the medical model
12:41
and say one of the attractions is
12:42
instant relief yeah I can go in they’ll
12:47
give me a pill to give me a shot they’ll
12:49
do something and suddenly it will all be
12:51
better but what you were just saying is
12:53
that’s not not true that’s not the case
12:56
in fact many times they prolong it and
12:58
then they introduce other levels of
13:00
imbalance that cause other problems that
13:02
you then have to do well well they don’t
13:04
call it practice you know they call it
13:06
medical practice they don’t call it that
13:08
for nothing well I always have this
13:09
vision of the doctor of today will be
13:12
viewed like we view medieval doctors you
13:15
know walking around in their pointed
13:16
hats and you know applying leeches and
13:19
and all these other things and going oh
13:22
dear boy but of course everyone knows
13:24
leeches we’ll bring your humors into a
13:26
balance well they are using leeches
13:28
again well okay well
13:31
all right well I don’t really care about
13:34
any of that because that’s not where I
13:35
want to be in my health plan all right
13:37
well before you get back into your
13:39
health plan I will interrupt by saying
13:42
that you are listening to when the biomass
13:44
hits the wind turbine with Jay and
13:46
Annie Warmke reminding you that it is
13:49
indeed the end of the world as we know
13:51
it and thank God thank God yes so tell
13:56
me more about herbs okay well so just a
13:59
few other things that are just basic to
14:02
having some kind of a health care kit
14:04
for yourself all of these things are
14:07
easily looked up online lots and lots of
14:11
botanists out there in in the old days
14:13
they called them women healers and the
14:16
women would make these remedies and mix
14:18
up poultices and essential oils and
14:22
infusions and all kinds of things and
14:25
would make these so they could preserve
14:28
the the herbs over the wintertime or for
14:31
the use during times when they weren’t
14:33
fresh so one of the things that I like
14:35
is I don’t use petroleum jelly I think
14:37
that’s a very common product in a home
14:41
health kit but we use something called
14:44
WAC saline and why axel een is the
14:46
soy-based product so there is an oil
14:48
petroleum in it and it and so we use
14:55
that as a base a lot of the time we also
14:57
use coconut oil as a base when we want
14:59
to put other things into it like other
15:02
other plant materials or essential oils
15:05
so we have a conduit or a base so we can
15:08
rub that in on the skin or ingest it and
15:11
coconut oil is very very healing and it
15:13
really bumps up a lot of the herbs when
15:16
we’re when we’re using them so wax alene
15:18
is a good product another product that
15:21
we use a lot for many things is
15:23
diatomaceous earth and diatomaceous
15:26
earth comes from when there were oceans
15:29
out in the western part of North America
15:32
and they dried up and these little like
15:34
plankton kind of things lived there and
15:36
so one version of diatomaceous earth is
15:41
used for water
15:45
softeners but the kind that we use is
15:48
called flour FL oh you are like flour
15:50
when you make bread and it has to be
15:54
that food grade in order for it to work
15:56
so if you look at the diatomaceous earth
15:59
under a microscope it looks like a numb
16:04
tongue so it has a lot of barbs on it so
16:07
each little kernel which is you know
16:10
miniscule looks like it’s got all these
16:13
barbs on it and what happens is almost
16:16
all insects so parasites or even
16:19
everything that you’re trying to get rid
16:21
of carries moisture on the outside of
16:24
their body so this flower is so dry when
16:27
they crawl across it or have contact
16:29
with it their body grabs it and pulls it
16:31
on to them and what it does is it wounds
16:33
them and then dries them up and they die
16:35
naturally well I know that we’ve used
16:37
that for for pests that are outside of
16:39
your body but does it work inside your
16:41
body as well it works inside your body
16:43
as well mm-hmm so it better be food
16:45
great right well it’s not that that’s
16:48
not the problem the food great meaning
16:50
that it has to be that powdery that’s
16:53
just the the consistency of it if it
16:55
isn’t it doesn’t it’s not a dumb Chuck
16:58
well and some of the consistent elements
17:01
of all of these is is these products are
17:04
not very expensive first off well it
17:06
depends because you can buy diatomaceous
17:09
earth at the hardware store in a small
17:11
box and it’s ten dollars I buy 50 pounds
17:14
of it for 15 dollars to have at my barn
17:18
because I use this a lot with livestock
17:19
and and another thing is of course the
17:22
Hippocratic oath always says first do no
17:25
harm and then of course most of the
17:27
doctors immediately ignore that and say
17:29
first get the patient to pay their bill
17:31
okay I don’t want to go there I really
17:33
don’t I don’t here’s the reason I don’t
17:37
want to go there yes even though I
17:39
sincerely believe that there is a place
17:43
for for medical model I do believe that
17:47
if I break my arm or I’m not sure what
17:51
else but let’s say I break my arm I need
17:53
I may need some help but what I really
17:56
want to focus on is the eye
17:57
eeeh that we have the ability to do
17:59
these things for themselves ourselves
18:01
and I do not want people hearing this
18:04
show to instantly feel they have to
18:06
defend what we have been taught from the
18:09
beginning of our life that the medical
18:12
doctor is God and they know everything
18:15
and they’re going to take care of us I’m
18:17
saying we have the ability to take care
18:19
of ourselves and we just need to put the
18:22
medical model in its place which is at
18:24
the bottom of the list and is our last
18:26
resort and not a place to go to because
18:29
we’re feeling the attention yeah yeah
18:32
well I was actually gonna say that their
18:34
model does state first do no harm and
18:37
that these these remedies really are are
18:42
benign even if you don’t we don’t
18:45
believe they’re going to work right
18:47
there’s they’re not gonna they’re not
18:49
going to cause you damage I mean
18:51
anything in excess can cause you damage
18:52
if you try to eat your entire 50-pound
18:54
bag of diatomaceous earth it would
18:57
probably cause you a little bit of
18:58
problem but putting a little bit in a
19:00
cup of water and drink well it has a lot
19:03
of silica and you have to be careful in
19:05
how you use it but like an example would
19:08
be acidophilus is not going to hurt you
19:10
sending the balance of bacteria into the
19:13
good column is not going to hurt you and
19:15
that’s the thing is you want to ask
19:17
yourself that so moving on moving to the
19:21
idea that about parasites and in this
19:24
country we don’t doctors don’t know much
19:26
about parasites because it’s clear we’re
19:29
all very white we’re all very clean and
19:31
we couldn’t possibly have any parasites
19:33
but it is not true and so in the farm
19:36
world where we deal with animals and
19:38
soil and have our hands in some sort of
19:41
compost or soil or for dirty Heinie’s we
19:45
know that there are lots of parasites
19:47
and lots of bugs that we really don’t
19:49
want to have in our system and a little
19:52
bit of that is fine as long as our body
19:54
can handle it or the body of the
19:56
livestock can handle it because your
19:58
body is dependent upon parasite some to
20:01
some degree will be healthy digestion
20:03
and well if you look at Crohn’s disease
20:05
and different things like that they’re
20:07
starting to realize that this is because
20:09
they’ve killed off all the good bacteria
20:11
the parasite activated and that’s why
20:14
these things take over but anyway so so
20:17
what a couple of things that I’ve used
20:18
really effectively and and I learned
20:21
about some of this when we lived in
20:22
England because you could go to the
20:24
pharmacy there and the pharmacists would
20:26
make up things they call it compounding
20:29
that you needed or we’d looked up things
20:32
in a book like for the cats I needed
20:35
something for mange because I was
20:39
worried about them being stressed out
20:41
and they made up a special formula out
20:43
of a book that we looked up but anyway
20:44
so diatomaceous earth can be helpful in
20:47
parasite control also grapefruit seed
20:52
extract so we’ve used grapefruit seed
20:55
extract along with acidophilus to get
20:59
back in control after we were on a trip
21:01
to North Africa and we all got some kind
21:04
of parasite so we would take the
21:06
grapefruit seed extract and you take
21:09
like two drops it’s an oil into some
21:12
water and it tastes so bad that you know
21:15
I will never I will never ever have to
21:19
worry about this again because those
21:20
parasites are gonna get the heck out of
21:22
my body and and then we would have that
21:25
the extract and then in a few hours we
21:28
would take some acidophilus and then we
21:31
would just keep alternating and i know
21:33
when we did this within a couple of days
21:35
we were fine we also for animals we and
21:39
for myself I do this in generally in the
21:42
fall I take some grapefruit seed extract
21:44
with diatomaceous earth and then I also
21:47
add garlic and wormwood and wormwood is
21:50
an is a medicinal but it can be quite
21:54
dangerous if you take it for too long it
21:56
can impact the liver but I do use it it
22:01
is effective in that it not it does kill
22:04
some parasites but what we’re trying to
22:07
also do is create an environment in the
22:08
gut where the parasite doesn’t want to
22:10
stay there and so we want the parasite
22:13
to exit in some way so we’re trying to
22:15
force it out lots of women have trouble
22:19
with what they call you know female
22:23
problems so menstrual
22:25
problems whether they have too heavy of
22:27
a flow or lots of pain and so at our
22:30
farm with our interns we have been very
22:34
I would say lucky in that we have
22:37
created a blend of lemon balm with red
22:40
raspberry leaves and red clover leaves
22:42
that not leaves about red clover
22:44
blossoms that are dried and made into a
22:48
tea and one of our interns had a lot of
22:51
problem when right before she would
22:54
minister ate she would be ill she was in
22:57
so much pain and she’d just be white as
22:59
a sheet and she’d just have to go to bed
23:01
and so he started this blend and she was
23:05
she thought I was the miracle worker you
23:07
know the woman healer the first time she
23:10
was better and then after that if she
23:13
started within like ten days of her
23:16
menstruation she she today doesn’t even
23:19
have to take the tea anymore she doesn’t
23:21
have any problems so clearly there was
23:23
some kind of imbalance she had taken so
23:25
many different kinds of drugs and crazy
23:27
stuff that made her even sicker and so
23:30
there was a natural way and she would go
23:32
out and gather up the leaves and dry
23:34
them and in a loving way and so she was
23:36
taking care of herself and she felt very
23:38
empowered by that another common thing
23:41
that we see is herpes which when I was a
23:45
kid they called it fever blisters and
23:47
and they appear they can appear a lot of
23:50
places but mainly on the lips and this
23:52
is a virus that stays in the gut and it
23:56
does not go away I don’t think there’s
23:58
anything that will kill it but there are
24:00
ways to try to control it and one of the
24:02
ways is OVA Ursa which we talked about
24:05
before taking two or three capsules
24:09
several times a day until the symptoms
24:12
go away and I will say that if you’re
24:14
susceptible to the Ursa or L lysing is
24:18
another natural product that we use if
24:21
you are susceptible the minute you take
24:24
the herb the pressure that you feel on
24:29
your lip where it hurts like crazy
24:31
well almost within like five or ten
24:34
minutes stop hurting and then the goal
24:36
is to keep chasing it and to
24:38
the body gets back in balance again so
24:41
you don’t end up with a big sore on your
24:42
lip and adding to the agony we also use
24:48
peppermint for lots of things it’s
24:50
antispasmodic so it fights bacteria and
24:54
several with it what does antispasmodic
24:55
mean well yeah yeah so if you’re on a on
25:01
a trip or and it just settles your
25:03
stomach it is it’s very like ginger you
25:06
use ginger for that as well right that’s
25:08
also an antispasmodic great for car
25:10
sickness nausea it’s also an
25:12
anti-inflammatory but you can almost get
25:16
a peppermint anywhere if you start
25:17
feeling sick at your stomach you would
25:19
have to take several peppermints at once
25:21
in order for it to really have a big
25:24
impact but it may be helpful
25:26
well something that’s occurred to me is
25:27
you’re telling me these things is is we
25:30
we seem like as a society we’ve evolved
25:34
from people doing this for themselves
25:36
all the time most people were
25:38
responsible for their own health care
25:40
then we developed professionals who
25:43
studied this in-depth thing wait no
25:45
before that we developed this attitude
25:46
that if you know how to use these things
25:49
you’re a dumb hick and you’re you’re
25:52
doing yes and you’re doing crazy stuff
25:54
yes and we killed people who did but but
25:57
then you say all right it makes logical
25:59
sense for someone to study this stuff
26:01
get good at it and then become the
26:04
person the go-to person but we’ve
26:06
evolved this to the point where now as a
26:09
society we basically say you are not
26:12
capable or responsible enough to deal
26:15
with your own health and in fact it’s
26:18
it’s it’s so dangerous that we’re going
26:20
to sue you or something for even
26:23
suggesting that you might take care of
26:25
yourself and and it feels like oK we’ve
26:28
we’ve turned this over to a system that
26:30
we know is dysfunctional now what you’re
26:33
saying is all right let’s
26:34
okay come back come back a bit it
26:36
doesn’t mean you get rid of these guys
26:38
they have their place but start taking
26:40
responsibility for the day-to-day
26:43
inconveniences of walking around in this
26:45
body of flesh that we write that’s being
26:48
attacked constantly and I will say that
26:50
for myself it’s a little bit
26:52
challenging with my livestock because
26:54
the minute I get in a position with
26:56
their help that I don’t know what to do
26:57
my first inclination is to run to the
27:01
veterinarian but I haven’t had good luck
27:03
with that I’ve been I have to educate
27:06
myself well so I’ve got a couple other
27:08
things I want to talk about before we
27:10
end you’ve got about a minute to do so
27:12
alright so cayenne pepper it’s a
27:15
fantastic product it helps with blood
27:18
flow it stops bleeding if you had a
27:20
wound and you were bleeding profusely
27:22
and you pour that in there it Sears the
27:25
ends of the nerve endings and the blood
27:27
vessels it’s also good for pain
27:29
suppression and it’s antibacterial and
27:32
then lastly I want to talk about the
27:33
plant plantain plantain is in
27:36
everybody’s yard one of my favorites
27:38
next to everybody sidewalk and and you
27:41
can look it up online spelled PLA and ta
27:44
I n it could save your life if you get
27:47
stung by a honey bee or a wasp or Hornet
27:51
so many times you may have been finding
27:54
the passages hurts like crazy but you
27:56
have an allergic reaction so if you get
27:58
the leaf of the plantain it has these
28:00
spines little veins in it and you would
28:03
chew on the leaf and break the vein and
28:05
put that on the sting and it and it
28:09
could save your life well all the tests
28:11
of that because I was out picking
28:12
blackberries one time and wrestled up a
28:15
hornet’s nest and got stung on the
28:17
throat and it it just takes it right out
28:21
it’s amazing well anyway you have been
28:24
listening to when the biome acids – wind
28:27
turbine with Jay and the medicine woman
28:30
I’m not medicine I’m the woman healer
28:33
thank you the herbalist yeah and so
28:35
here’s the deal you better play nice
28:37
with others clean up your own mess and
28:39
eat your vegetables or our producer
28:42
who’s won Emmys Adam Rich will come
28:44
