Bodacious Woman Weekend: Claiming Our Power
June 13th & 14th, 2025 (Arrive Friday evening)
Join Annie Warmke and a few of her friends at Blue Rock Station sustainable living center and home of the first Earthship east of the Mississippi. They have cooked up a new 2025 version of the Bodacious Woman workshop and it promises to promote a new sense of how to thrive, whether it’s in the workplace or at home.
You will have an opportunity to connect with graduates of other Bodacious Woman weekends. You will leave empowered and ready to say, “Hell no!”.
Each activity is designed to encourage stepping outside of the normal everyday (or not so normal everyday) challenges and concerns, and to teach new solutions to old challenges. Show up ready to network, and to learn new tried and true ways to thrive, whether it’s in the workplace or at home.
What to expect:
Let’s start with “fun”. The goal is to learn some new ways to use everyday words and perhaps new activities to thrive. What does personal power really look like, and how can it be used in productive ways to enlarge circles of support, whether it is family, co-workers or friends?
The best part of the weekend is the bonding and sharing that helps wash away the everyday stuff that tends to be easy to hold onto and replaces it with a sense of feeling supported and ready for new challenges.
Arrive between 5pm and 8pm on Friday evening, June 13th and get settled into a shared tiny sleeping cabin or pitch your own tent (if the sleeping cabins are all taken). The evening will be spent relaxing around a bond fire and enjoying light snacks. Blue Rock Station is a private farm, only open to the public on special occasions.
Rise early on Saturday for a breakfast of organic vegetarian food for any type of diet. The day will be full of planned activities that focus on thriving in a modern world, including starting the day with movement, and an afternoon of nourishing time to simplify life. Lunch and early supper are also provided. Activities end at 6:30pm.
Specifics will be available upon registration.
