Description

April 3rd, 1 to 4 pm

Join expert agroforestry designer Chad Cully to learn how to design your own food forest. The afternoon will be spent learning the basics of food forest design and will include planting and mulching the new BRS West Field Food Forest.

Everyone will receive a crop fact sheet and learn how to not only plan a garden but also to learn what to expect as the garden matures. Weather permitting there will be an opportunity to plant some of the plants that are built into the design process.

Snacks will be provided. Some plants will be available for sale at the end of class.

Sign up for one class ($35) or both classes at a discount ($65)

Accommodations may be available to people attending both afternoons…BRS one-bed cabins ($35 Saturday night) or camping ($15).

*Cully is a soon-to-graduate Cornell University graduate student in natural resources and the environment. He has been working with Annie since 2018 designing and propagating all of the plants in the new food forest in the West Field at Blue Rock Station.
