Hi, I am Starla Van Gundy(she/they), I’m an activist and budding environmentalist.
Not only am I a native to the Eastern Foothills of The Appalachian Mountains, but I have a love for all the flora and fauna of my homeland.

This summer I’m interning at Blue Rock Station/Warmke Farm, and doing a mentorship program with Women Food and Agriculture Network (WFAN). The first time I visited Blue Rock Station was for a day of the dead celebration when I was 13, and at 17 I’m spending my summer living here.
My summer project was to start a blog and share my experiences. A goal of mine is to post something at least once a week, and tell you about the projects I’ve been working on and all the things I learned.
